I closed my eyes and wished you were here,
I whispered a prayer and fell asleep,
But my mind still stubbornly wanders,
Wandering with the thoughts of you...
And I can't seem to get you out of my head,
Even when I'm trapped within my darkest dungeons,
There you are standing, staring,
Like a beacon, shining onto me...
But it's all in my head,
And I cannot make it real,
What a wicked cruel world this is,
For I am caged by the torments of my heart...
